Hi there! My name's Izzy, and this is a website I started in early 2022 as a place to keep all the little creative projects I've written. At the start this meant mostly reviews, but it's evolved to be mostly about original stories and keeping track of recipes I like. I write very slowly in my free time, and I'm still learning how to handle multi-chapter/ongoing works, but I hope you enjoy reading what I've written!
It's been brought to my attention that my amateur HTML skills can make this site hard to read on mobile. With that in mind, I'm also posting my original works to my AO3!
On this website, you will find:
- My Writing, most of which is some form of Fantasy or Science Fiction. There's also a small bit of Physics writing that I do in my free time, including crash-courses in Special and General Relativity.
- My Friends, or at least a list of my friends that have websites! You should check them out they're all incredibly talented!!
- Recipes, a small collection of dishes that I've found, made, and liked.
- My reviews have been moved to the new Non-fiction section!
Currently Working On:
Just finished the fourth chapter of By Sand and Stars! I'm hoping to divide my long-form stories into multiple bite-sized 'arcs' going forward, as it helps me keep track of structure. The first arc of By Sand and Stars is done, consisting of the first four chapters, and the first arc of Spidersilk and Bandages will end with its third chapter. Finishing that arc of Spidersilk is my main goal for now, as I'm hoping to leave both stories at a nice pausing place while I take some time to experiment with other projects in the begeinning of the new year.
