Buttermilk Pancakes

Can feed either eight people, or four hungry people

Ingredients

Procedure

  1. Mix milk and vinegar together and let sit at least five minutes.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together in a separate bowl.
  3. Make a well in the dries, then fill it with milk, butter and eggs, before whisking together (final product should have lumps, but no dry bits).
  4. If your batter is still too thin, add up to a cup of flour to the mixture.
  5. Melt your last tablespoon of butter on top of a skillet.
  6. Add batter to the skillet, using about 1/3 cup for each pancake.
  7. If you have any berries or texture-adding elements, drop them onto the pancakes directly after putting them on the skillet.
  8. Let pancakes sit until they start forming bubbles in their centers. When this happens, flip them using a spatula, and let sit for the same amount of time on the other side.
  9. When brown on both sides, remove them from the skillet and enjoy!
